I've got to hand it to you, this is probably the most interesting project you've done out of all the others and I hope you can go much further with this than what you've done already so far!
Not only that, but I am also hopeful that somehow and/or someway, you'll be able to make your other projects as close to or somewhat similar or even better to what you've done with this specific project here and use it to build upon, improve, or even go beyond what you've already done with your previous ones making them much more engaging, entertaining, interesting, exciting, Etcetera than ever before from everything you did from then till now!
To be more specifically clear of what I mean in case I'm confusing or miscommunicating to you what I'm talking about, I'm mainly thinking about the very first project you started out with and the others that came afterward from it in the sense that I hope somehow some way you'll be able to go back to your previous projects and make them just as good or even better than what you've done with this here already!
I don't know if you will do it on a few, a couple, or all of them up to this point, but I hope that one way or another, you'll be able to do what you did here with this project in question
With that in mind, maybe you'll make it as similar or completely different as the others you've already done!
Especially depending on whether you start from top to bottom or bottom to top or 1st to last or last to 1st with all the ones that you currently have here so far, I'm mainly hoping that whenever, wherever, or however you might go about doing it (if you're planning or scheduling it at all as long as I'm not overstepping any spoiler territory based on or regarding that) I'm being optimistic and hopeful that you'll be able to do what you did here or anything else you might have in mind for them in general all in an effort to make them as captivating, compelling eye-catching, etc. as this here but 10 * or 100 * times more impressive than what you've done so far already!
I don't know if that's normal, but i can't do anything unless killing ghosts and upgrade my spells, nothing more than that is happening. No story, no character nothing just walking, dashing and killing ghosts. Do you have a guide at least that could help people ?
explore around more and bosses should appear
Hmm, Autumn and Theo look younger here.
Getting a odd bug with the taur lady, she spawns, has dialogue and attacks but theres no combat collider or damage showing im hitting her, but she can still hit me with the projectiles. Also shes not spawning on the sparkle points like the others do.
Ok the not hitting thing i found out, though is odd she spawns off target to the sparks like the others do
I tried my hand at the game and I enjoyed it quite a bit when I got the controls down, then I say my favorite bit is when I can eat the slime like ghosts. And the foxxo is one hot pred I must say.
Hey, Zyyph, I got to the first ending. Any other endings? Then, I play experience evaluation: first, the plot is good, and I'm once again diving into autumn's story; The second is that if you put the skill in the top left corner of the screen, maybe you can replace esc, which is also quite cumbersome to click all the time; The third is that compared with the previous game, the protagonist's ability to improve faster than before, and it is much more comfortable to play; Finally, it would be nice to have a small map in the top left or top right corner of the game.
One problem I noticed is that if the protagonist is promoted too quickly, the boss is too easy to die, and may not be able to see the new vore animation or additional story, and then there will be a feeling that the boss is too weak to stir up the desire to win, so I recommend adding a boss below a certain amount of health will cause a short period of invincibility (within a battle).
An interesting point to add is that every time my health was very low, I relied on the slow-moving Slime and fought against the boss in the dying.
I hope you had some fun! Thanks for all the feedback. I definitely agree about the minimap, it's the thing I shouldn't have cut production on. Lesson learned!
This was absolutely delightful!
Thank you!
I kinda wish the controls were clearer got my ass handed to me in the first few minutes
The theme of this game jam was to use no more than 2 buttons for gameplay, which was tricky to work around with the kind of game I wanted to make! Hopefully even losing is somewhat rewarding now and then.
I see, interesting. The losses aren't that much of a bother now that I know why the controls are like that
Very good. The controls are a bit slippery at first, but after I conquered them, it went smooth, and oh, the plot really thickened there!
Thanks for playing!!
My first words as I played the new game were "Long time no see, Autumn".
Rather interesting concept by having the mouse and the mouse buttons as your sole means of playing the game. :Pc
I would've preferred to use WASD but the theme of the game jam was that I only got to use 2 buttons for gameplay! I still cheated with the esc key.
Gosh, that's appears to be really good! But do you think in the future a mobile (Android, in my case) or browser version can be made?
This game uses a lot of colliders, and it's not well suited to a webgl or android build. Very sorry! If I find a workaround I will release it.
That's sad to hear, but I completely understand! Let us updated if you find a way to make it work (or hope I can get the money to buy at least a notebook for me lmao)
I hope that by asking this question I won't seem like I am bringing up something that is obvious at first glance, or I'm just being ignorant of something that's simply staring me right in the face, but I just got to ask to be sure about whether this new project you're working on is some sort of sequel to 1 other that you've done in the past that somewhat shares similarity to it but only mainly to being along the line to one part of the title and nothing else outside that as yet?
Which is mainly to be more specific, a.k.a. this project here https://zyyphelze.itch.io/between-the-shrouded-peaks,
(?).
This is a really good game! I am curious though just how many achievements there are. Love the Characters in it and the story around them.
Was able to beat it, had to get down a few tries but the hint of where to find the music helped me explore the place. Got a bug with Morga where they didnt appear but just the attacks, even after i got all the stuff, i had to close the game and lose everything. For the future, i would say some kind of auto save to keep your things and also a way to see the achivements. Nice job on this and loved the slime stuff.
I was really sad to hear a few people got that bug. The bosses had a lot of cut content, her in particular. Hopefully the game was still generally pretty fun!
The game is actually really fun! Love the idea, the art and sound is great as well, your stuff never fails to dissapoint
The only thing i personally couldnt figure out was the whole "music" hint, but that might just be me being silly. Awesome work <3
I wanted to reward exploration! That's the only other hint I can give haha
