February 2022 Update, Ares Chapter
Hey all~! I'm happy to debut the Ares Chapter update to Rapturous.

We've got a lot of cool stuff in this update, here's a list of the highlights:
- Ares the tiger has a full story with unique art and new supporting characters
- The card-based combat has been refined, there are new abilities and balancing
- Enemy encounters can be found in the woods
- There's an inventory which you can use to track your items and sell from (work in progress!)
- The engine has been updated to allow bloom and other postprocessing effects
- There's an open segment of the game for exploring and meeting people
That's not everything that was added but I hope it gets you ready for the new content! Lungo's story will be adapted into the open-world part soon enough, but right now if you want to just see the new stuff, enter your name as "Skip" and you'll go to the end of his story.
I've got a lot more in mind for this project, so feel free to give feedback or ask questions. I hope you enjoy what I've made!

Very enticing Story and Gameplay so far - taken the few bugs and the futile enemies (Ares and Simon) out of the assessment - more humping-options please - not so much into Vore myself, yet it would be nice to get a swollen belly from swallowing all of Lungo's "nectar", for example and not let so much of it go to "waste" ;-P ).
I can see that it's more Vore-focused though, and if that's your goal to make such a Ga(y)me, that's awesome for that community. - If you're trying to "serve" a broader/wider audience, I'd love to see some other kinks, too (for example: like cum [inflation] and all its possible effects - a lust demon must get pretty "strong" - if not even "out of control" from a certain amount, doesn't he?).
I'm curious to see where you're going with it and how you're gonna progress - and which audience(s) you wanna attract/reach/"serve" with it though...
Cheers and whichever it is, I'm sure they're gonna love it once its development progresses...
I got a quick question involving the enemies that you face currently in the game and the ones that you might face later on down the road as this game updates, will there be some kind of option during those kinds of battles where if the character does end up losing and gets swallowed up will they be able to fight inside that stomach in order to try to get out through either the way they came in or out the other end?
We've got a variety of ideas planned for future content but at the time there's more of a focus on adding new characters, areas, and interactions. I don't want to promise content that I may or may not put in soon.
well cool update there is some bugs that i have expereienced here and its a bit weird so i'll just mention here.
the first bug that i found first is when i fought the purple dragon thing in the woods. its really weird because the cards won't respawn for some reason either that or the cards won't replace the ones i used already and when i no longer have cards and i still have one more energy i just get stuck in the dialogue without moving forward from the choose card dialogue.
(spoiler to those who haven't started this game yet)
the second one (i didn't know to pass at the time) was fighting against Ares. when you lose and when the screen goes black you somehow get the dialogue when you do the other objective instead and then get the card while the screen has the try again and back to town option.don't know if its a feature or not.
other than those there is nothing wrong with the game itself. well from my end anyway. i give you the best of luck.
Honestly the release was cleaner than I even hoped, haha.
I've fixed those two bugs already for the next release, as well as some audio ones. Thanks for reporting!

I'm not sure if it's just me, but the post-show scenes with the options other than the player one still have the belly noises playing. also, I think the Ice magic cards suddenly stopped appearing?, but I'm not entirely sure if I just did something that made them do so
I'm adding a deck manager, so you can control which cards you have, hopefully that'll solve that issue if there was some glitch!
The belly noise problem is my bad. The game tests to see if one particular track for the player being eaten is playing, it doesn't consider the case someone else goes in instead.
I've fixed it for the next update!

i used mac version, the cards r invisible so i have no clue which button to go with so i just click around and get weak result
overall it is enjoyable nonetheless

I don't own a mac so I have truly no idea how that works. I'm happy to hear that the game actually plays, though?
Maybe I can make a version that skips every fight so you can at least enjoy the content reliably.
maybe instead of skip fight. why not have name of whatever card is above the card itself or give us an option to disable card image and have text instead
It would be quite a bit of development time to recreate the discard and convert mechanics but I can try to throw it together when I have some time. Main issue is that I can't bugtest it since I don't have a mac!

Will there be a Mac version? ;n;
I've been looking into doing a mac version, unfortunately mac has increased their security standards and it's very hard to produce a game that can dupe their system so the game can bypass the security scan.
Doing so is technically against terms of service, as well. I'm looking into options but I've got no promises there yet. Sorry!
that being said, if any mac user wants me to do a build of the game so they can tinker with it and try to make it work, I'm happy to do it. It's just not been cracked yet.
The way i've downloaded this, (and other games too) is with a youtube video on how to bypass the macs security with the terminal, it's not that complicated once you get the hang of it, don't know how to solve the problem in the developing sense but people might be able to download it this way, tell me if you'd like to write down the video or anything, i deeply want to play this.
If you have some success please come back and share how you did it! No promises this version is super stable, I've been doing changes and adding content so it might be a little weird. It's uploaded, though!

you:1. Open your Mac Terminal
2. In Terminal, enter the following command:
chmod +x App_name.app/Contents/MacOS/App_name.exe
and that's it :3 it's very easy.
